Dance therapy
Movement and shape to your emotions

Dance is the outline of life
"Everyone knows how to dance, you just have to let your body move the way it wants, let yourself. That's what is important, the rest is technique. Dance, when used therapeutically, is organic; it's how the body manifests itself in this existence.
It can be a very healing process when we can connect with our feelings and make them overflow in the form of movement in our body."
I am your mirror
Dance therapy sessions take place in groups, usually exclusively for women, who share their expressions, both verbal and bodily in a safe, judgment-free environment.
The contact with other stories through the conversation circles, combined with the body dynamics, contribute significantly to the journey of self-knowledge and consequent healing process.

How does it work?
Dance Therapy groups take place periodically in Granja Viana and sporadically in other locations such as Barueri and Vila Leopoldina.
The meetings always work on a specific theme.
I also work with online workshops.
Visit @fabiana_elisa_dutra to find out the date of the next meetings.
Benefits of Dance Therapy
The idea of dance therapy is to help people connect with their deepest feelings. They simply have to “listen” to their body and turn that “voice” into movement. In a judgment-free environment surrounded by peers, people can express themselves freely and integrate thoughts, feelings, and movements.
" I encourage people through my movements and explain that the weirder, the better . We are used to doing little steps, to standardizing. And the important thing is that they feel what their body is asking for. There are a lot of people who are blocked, stuck, saying they don't know how to dance. That doesn't exist. We are all capable of moving freely, we just need to free ourselves from our own constraints.”
Dance as a healing tool
Simony's testimony about her healing process through dance therapy
“Many times in this life we are the medicine in other people’s lives. Be part of someone’s medicine cabinet. A smile, a hug can change everything. I am true. Thank you, Fabiana Dutra!
I loved the Dance Therapy. Congratulations Hcor and Dr. Fernando Maluf”, thanked Simony.
